Dinner Parties Catering / Private Chef
Ryan John Private Chef can accommodate intimate dinners for a small group right through to sit-down banquets for much larger groups of people. Prices vary according to menu, numbers, staffing and venues. We can accommodate the budgets and tastes of most of our clients and also offer a range of sit down options for wedding catering.
Once we have the menu, dates and time locked in it’s a simple process. Basically the team arrives about 30 minutes prior to the dinner party to set up the kitchen for service. All you need to do on the day is set the table with your own cutlery and glassware… and then relax!
The chef attending the dinner party will bring all of the plates and equipment required. As long as you have a little bench space, an oven, and a stove we are good to go! The chef will also serve the meal to the table and clear the plates in between courses. All you have to do on the night is look after the beverages as a normal host might. If you would like a waiter, we can organise one for you.
For most clients this will be the first time they have a private chef in their kitchen. If you are new to this, just relax and enjoy the whole experience. We will come to your home, serve you a world class meal, ensure your kitchen is spotless and sail off into the sunset… How easy is that!

Cocktail and Fingerfood – Corporate Functions / Wedding Catering
Ryan John Private Chef can accommodate all kinds of stand up style functions. We regularly do finger food and canapé packages for weddings and corporate functions that exceed 200 guests.
For something a little bit smaller like that special birthday party, we can prepare some exquisite canapés and have one of our cocktail waiters setup a bar to serve a wide range of delicious cocktails. We also have excellent bar staff and waiters, and for all of our functions the chef will also be seen walking around platters in uniform and talking to the guests about the food.
We will happily provide all equipment required for both the kitchen and bar setups at no extra cost to you. All you need to provide is the alcohol, ice and glassware – and we will give you a list of everything you need to ensure you are confident and relaxed in the lead up to your function.
Whether you want finger food for an office party, some canapés for your birthday or a full catering service for your wedding or corporate event – we are the catering company for you. We always have a chef on site to ensure the food is perfect, there are no hidden costs, and all of our quotes are final!
Gourmet Barbeque – Party Catering
For a slightly more relaxed party, the gourmet barbeque is a great option. We can accommodate barbeques for anywhere from 12 in your backyard right through to 150 in Hyde Park. Once again we supply all of the equipment required for the event and quote up front. For the smaller barbeques we would generally use the barbeque of the host. As with all of our events, we will ensure all of the dishes are done, the kitchen spotless and of course the barbeque left in a pristine condition!
